Evernote Windows was blocking updates done through Android

It wasn't updating with the S9 Ultra and the S23 Ultra Evernote android latest apps and firmwars and same with Windows. I closed the Desktop version then the Android versions were working where you can see the cursor and stuff. I tried closing and reopening the apps but it did nothing.

Can you add any more detail? It's not quite clear from this exactly what was happening.
