Hey there!

I flashed my LG V20 phone's OS recently, replacing Android 7 with Android 9.

So Evernote update came up and I did it (unfortunately).

The latest version is horribly slow, compared to previous (8..something) version. Before update, app's interface loaded immediately, now it takes 10 or more seconds.

Is there a way to uninstall update and fall back to previous version?

Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forums. I think Evernote v. 10 only recently began working with Android 9; previously you needed Android 10 or above. So it may be a little slower on that version of Android. There's no "official" way to install an earlier version on this version of the OS AFAIK. There are ways to get the earlier apk, I believe. Searching this forum and the one for Evernote 8 (https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/forum/210-evernote-for-android-issues-versions-8133-and-under/) may turn up some links.

As you've no doubt observed, v. 10 is a radical revision. It can take a minute to find things in the new interface once it's loaded, so feel free to ask if you want to explore it. Frankly, I was glad when I bricked my Android 8 phone (literally--I dropped it on the porch!) and had to buy a newer model, so I could also get Evernote 10. I use the Windows and Web versions also, and I like the close similarity of features and appearance among all the versions. There are some formatting, search, and other things that v. 10 can do that v. 8 couldn't also. Not trying to sell you on it -- only suggesting it could be useful, despite the slow loading.

Turns out, they store earlier versions on site.

I uninstalled newer version and downloaded the APK of older one.

Regards.
