Have seen this error a couple times in the past few weeks.

Wasn't doing any editing with the app at the time.

This is typically found with broken installations. I'd recommend trying a full uninstall with Revo Uninstaller which clears out stubborn rubbish. Reinstall the app and see how you get on. Your local data will also be rebuilt in the process.
