Duplicate Notes Appearing

Duplicate versions of Notes I'm working on keep appearing out of nowhere, sometimes 5-10 duplicates per day. I'm only using Evernote on one device. Occassionally, the latest edits to my Notes also disappear. Any idea how to solve this? I'm using the latest version of the Android app.

This is a pretty unusual kind of problem these days. Not denying it's happening to you, just saying it may be due to some particular circumstances. What device are you using, and what Android version? What kind of Internet connection do you have?

This is happening to me as well, I am using EN on my chromebook. I went to set up my weekly planner and it duplicates the note, but does not include any of the text from the original. the first time it happened the orginal note was changed so that it had edited out the template i was using entirely and just left the tasks i had written. it had 4-5 duplicates

I have a similar problem with the android version 10.

Sometimes, when I'm working on a note I have message telling there was a sync problem and after my note is duplicate in 2-25 copy.

I'm using the Android app version 10.57.2. I've been using the free version of the app for 8 years without problems...until now. I access it using either my home wifi (fibre) or mobile data. My device is a Samsung Galaxy S23+ running Android 13

Weird … then you have a second device that we can use to check.

I would suggest you open Evernote.com on a PC or Mac, in a browser. This web client looks directly at the master copy of your data in the cloud.

I too have the duplicated note problem. I emptied my Trash notebook and Uninstalled/Reinstalled Evernote on Android. This drastically reduced the duplicate note problem. 😀  Now, edited saves are quicker and #of duplicated notes & frequency of duplicates has drastically reduced.
