Jamie7 0
Hi everyone, i need to do a fresh install of Windows due to a system critical error. I'm not able to access/load Evernote in windows, however, can access my laptop SSD as an external hard drive to recover data. I had quite a lot of important information in the taskbar 'Quick notes' tool that had not yet been converted into a proper Note (ie not stored on the cloud). Does anyone know where in the windows system / file explorer I would be able to find the quick note content? It must be saved somewhere as it would always reload after restarting the computer... Huge thanks for your help! Jamie Link to comment
Jamie7 0
Found it! if anyone needs it in the future, the taskbar Helper / Quick note content is stored in: AppData\Roaming\Evernote\conduit-storage Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,070 Posted July 20, 2023 Level 5* Share Posted July 20, 2023 Hi. No clue as to where that would be stored - we're mainly other users in the Forums. You can try asking Support (check in Settings on a mobile device for the link) but AFAIK "Quick Notes" was never designed as an additional long-term note store. Good luck finding your lost content...
