Option to show links to Google Drive/Sheets/Forms as URL text links as well

I would find it useful if links to Google Drive/Sheets/Forms etc could be formatted/shown as ”text URL” as well (a part from showing as a ”text link” or ”title link”.

I end up using a code block to be able to have the URL easy to copy for sharing. (I realise I can ”copy URL” in the  context menu clicking on the link, but I prefer to be able to see the link URL, so that I can see that it has the proper properties tacked on at the end (particularly for Google Forms). And yes, I could paste the link URL and just not end it with an enter – but that’s a bit of a hassle (and not clickable).

There is a work around which is probably about the same  amount of work as your code box idea but gives you exactly what you want.

• Create the link in whatever way you normaly do it. I normally just paste in the link.
• Change it to text (there is an option in settings to make this the default so you don't need to do this each time)
• Edit the text link and overwrite the text with the url
