I have used Evernote for most of ten years, sometimes the free version and sometimes the Personal paid version when I needed extra room to upload material. At the moment, I am using the free version. Now that I rather desperately need some of the information stored there, Evernote suddenly does not recognize my login data, though it does know that one of my e-mail addresses is in use already, and wants to open a new account for me. My data might as well not exist.
They are not complaining that I have too many devices attached to a basic account, simply refusing to acknowledge my previous existence.
I signed up for a Personal account again so that I could use the live chat system and received the following message: "Because so many people need help, we have closed this service, and you are SOL." Words to that effect, anyway.
If anyone can tell me how to regain access to my account or find some tech support, you will have my eternal gratitude.
