Can Evernote handle python language files?

Cpeve

Idea

I'd like to be able to add some python source file, say myfile.py to Evernote. I could add the file as a new note, but it paper clipped (attached) the py file. Instead, I would have liked to display the contents of the py file and not just attach it. And perhaps it can already do it, but I missed it.

And, I do work with other programming source files, such as .c, .c++, etc. Perhaps an add-on that would give me these extensions. After all, they are just .txt files in disguise.

Double clicking the .py file should automatically open it in whatewver application is associated with .py files on your computer.

EN displays very few file types in the note. I suggest either:

  • copying and pasting the text into a code box
  • attaching the file as a txt file (which are dispayed natively)
