getting the feeling that there are no more evernote developers and the api has been abandoned? Is there anyone left on this forum? Trying to get basic functionality working with the evernote api but it seems its become obsolete as python has passed it by.

API seems to be limited or depreciated, many apps based on Evernote API do not work anymore (was using Drafts on iOS which cannot access EN API anymore).
The only way to integrate with EN is to send something to EN by mail according to what other developpers say.

The API has a know problem with notes already converted into the new RTE data structure. This is know, but not the details.

Contact EN support if you need more information. The forum is user2user, and I don't see many devs lurking around here.

There is no rule that staff can't show up. They sometimes do and share valuable information.

Usually they don't answer direct questions here. Anything concerning their API goes pretty deep into details. It would be lost on most of us (including me).
