jmckimm 17
I am not talking about the old-school instant snappiness from the native Android app years back. But there seems to be a speed / performance increase from the super slow experience I am used to. Notes load faster. I can create a note and take a photo without waiting a minute. I can navigate around notes with only a slight delay. Basically, it is usable now. And I am using an older Pixel 3a. Does anyone else see a speed improvement on the Android app? 3 Link to comment
bmcl26 263
I have noticed a significant improvement in the performance of my Samsung A70, which is three years old. While I never encountered any major issues, I have observed a notable increase in speed lately. 1 Link to comment

Yep, for three weeks already since the release of RTE (RealTimeEditing / collaborative editing) Evernote is now much faster on my 4 year old Samsung A50. What's more, there's no performance degradation over the weeks, no glitches or deadlocks. Taking quick notes is possible again. It saves me money because I'm no longer forced to buy a new phone 🙂 3 Link to comment
janndk 221
Speed/performance is OK now and the android app is finally somewhat usable 👍 However, sync still occasionally slow and the app still buggy: Taking "quick notes" - those via android widget - doesn't work in my case Add image button doesn't work Android task widget not syncing (unless EN is opened) Can't add flag/date/etc in tasks via andoid widget A bit better camera functions would be nice, eg ability to choose pic size and format. 1 Link to comment

I'll admit I don't use it much (I still miss the quick note from the notification panel), but it does function for me. Link to comment

bmcl26 263
Quick Note initiated on PC appeared almost instantly on Android Phone. New Note created by Widget on Android Phone appeared almost instantly on PC. 1 Link to comment

Re the add image button: I noticed this too – use add attachment instead. 3 Link to comment
