The text within my notes keep duplicating - i have to keep restoring old version. I suspect it may be due to me having evernote web open on different desktops at different times but I cant avoid that as I use different computers for work,

I've seen that happen in the Android mobile app, usually when my keyboard app has suggested a text completion and I've accepted it. Could there be something similar happening in your case?

i dont know. this happens on windows, on the web version when im using chrome. I can't figure what the reasoning is as to why some notes get dupilcated like this and others dont.

Yes, it always seems very random to me too. Using it on a Windows machine, assuming a standard keyboard setup, invalidates my autocorrect hypothesis. Perhaps some glitch in the constant sync?
