Hi.  These Forums are mainly user 2 user but subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and all users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or via the feedback option where it is available).

If you can tell us your Windows and Evernote versions maybe we can suggest a fix.  If this happened after an update,  then maybe a restart or uninstall / reinstall will fix your issue?

Windows 8.1 EN 10.57

I reinstalled Evernote version 10.19 and it worked normally again.

I think I'll have to look for a better alternative to Evernote.

I only see it get worse. Even after being acquired by Bending Spoons.

Reinstalei a versão 10.19 do Evernote e voltou a funcionar normalmente.

Creio que terei que procurar uma alternativa melhor ao Evernote.

Só vejo piorar. Mesmo depois de ser adquirido pela Bending Spoons.

From what we know the underlying Electron framework released an update, that stopped all apps build using it to execute on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1,

Officially EN v10 was never released for these outdated, deprecated operating system versions. The minimum system requirement for EN v10 on Windows is Windows 10. Any computer able to run 7, 8 or 8.1 is as well able to execute Windows 10. There may be reasons to stick with older Windows versions - but there is no good reason to do so.

The deprecated Windows versions prior to Windows 10 are all unsafe to be used on any connected computer. EN requires an internet connection - the argument of using an airgapped PC to run old Windows makes no sense when running EN.
