kelly 0 Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 I'm trying to delete my tags with 0 notes. I can click and drag the tag to the trash or select the tag and hit delete, but nothing happens either way. (I downloaded the new version of Evernote this morning.)
engberg 89 Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Try right-clicking (command-clicking) and then choose the Delete option
kelly 0 Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 This doesn't seem to work either. Command-Click doesn't highlight the Delete option in the Edit menu. It does allow me to select multiple non-consecutive tags from the list. What else can I try? Also, I can't figure out how to empty my trash. What's the trick? Thanks for your input.
megsaint 441 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 It's not Command-Click. It's Control-Click. That will bring up the contextual menu. One of the options is delete.
Veritrope 3 Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 FYI: There is an AppleScript that will automatically find all tags with zero notes and delete them for you.Read more about it here:http://veritrope.com/code/evernote-empty-tag-remover/
mdave 1 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 This looks nice, Justin.I would like to be able to see a list and select which ones to delete (or to not delete).
