(Un)formatting options for forwarded emails

RobLewis

Idea

When I forward an email to my m.evernote.com address to dump it into Evernote, I would like the option to NOT capture it as HTML content, which can't be edited, highlighted, etc. Could there be an option switch (maybe something like "#nohtml" or "#editable" in the Subject line?) that would do away with the HTML wrapper so that the content could be edited/modified in Evernote?

You can certainly suggest this. Meanwhile, until your suggestion is picked up, you can easily remove the HTML formatting clicking on the magic wand for the HTML container.

Your mail client is set to open the received mails with HTML view. You could open them Text based instead.

Most users stay with HTML, because it allows content to show better.

Good point. In my Email program I can set the format that an address in the address book will receive. Select text for the Evernote Email and the HTML will automatically be stripped out.
