JimmyMac 1 Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 I'd like a drop-down box to select a saved search, similar to the notebook drop-down list. This would allow me to keep the side panel hidden more often since I primarily use it to access saved searches.
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted December 17, 2010 Level 5* Posted December 17, 2010 I'm not clear on where in the UI this would go. The only Notebook dropdown list I can find is in the Search Explanation Area, and that's hidden when the Note List is hidden.~Jeff
JimmyMac 1 Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 Actually you're right, I meant the side panel. I use F10 to hide the side panel so, when I made the post, I glanced at my Evernote keyboard shortcuts and typed what was next to F10.
Iosephus 2 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I, too, would like to see a Saved Search drop down menu in the toolbar, or the option to customize the toolbar for it. I rarely look at the bottom of my many tags, so I forget to use it. However, it is a great feature. Please consider. #featurerequest
Level 5 jbenson2 2,149 Posted July 18, 2013 Level 5 Posted July 18, 2013 I don't use the Saved Search feature, but I have lots of saved searches with a work-around. All my searches are put into 1 of 4 specific Evernote search notes.1.) Date Searches, 2.) Things Searches, 3.) Places Searching, and 4.) People Searches. To instantly see all 4 search notes, I added an icon to my Favorites Bar.Another advantage is a brief description above each search - for example: Stuff created in February 2013 (2/01/2013 to 2/28/2013)created:20130201 -created:20130301
