I realized why I never updated my Evernote when I finally did it. I have a system for keeping track of books in a series and if I have them and/or read them. It requires two checkboxes at the beginning of each title. When I get a book, I mark the "Have" box and when I've read it, I mark the "Read" box. It still works, however if an author has added a title to their series and I go to add it to the list, it skews the column over and crosses out the title, even if I haven't read it. I have extra lines where there were tabbed spaces and it looks awful. It's making me very frustrated as I have books to add and it's messing everything up. I've even told people about Evernote and my system and now it doesn't work correctly. Any ideas? I need it fixed! If I could go back to an earlier version where I can do what I've been doing, I'd do that in a heartbeat. I also, like the checkboxes at the top where I can quickly select them instead of having a dropdown and having to look for it. Any suggestions. Either that or I'm finding another app to do what I need it to do. Thanks!

Hi.  What's your device / OS / Evernote version?

It's unlikely that you could go back to an earlier version to fix this issue,  but you may find that making your lists in a 'code block' will help.  You would need to use '[ ]' (square brackets) as tick boxes because the code block does not support tasks or checkboxes.

To create a code block,  type '{} ' in the note body or use the '+' menu
