Did you notice a sync improvement?

I just read a message on the Evernote forum in reddit from a user reporting a game-changing sync improvement. My question is: Can you confirm his observation?

I don't collaborate using Evernote, but if this means overall improved syncing, I will find it a boon also. But I would be interested in hearing reports from anyone who gets the updated syncing, and also still uses the Legacy Windows program. Will it, as David Letterman used to ask, float?
