ppointer 1
Yesterday I added another Mac to my devices - I will call it my client MBP. I now have three of them, plus my iPhone. I made some changes to one of my notes on my personal MBP that is not synchronizing across any devices. Then on my main work MBP (a two-year-old Intel), I added two new Notebooks, and they are not synchronizing on other devices. Any suggestions on how to track down this problem? I have a personal license. Link to comment
ppointer 1
I will add that I can see the two new notebooks on the Web site, but not the updates to a note that caught my attention. That implies that my personal MBP (M1) is having the problem. Link to comment
Level 5 Solution PinkElephant 8,777 Posted March 31, 2023 Level 5 Solution Share Posted March 31, 2023 You likely have on the device not syncing a corruption of the local database. You can try to solve it this way: 1. Go to the Evernote menu, Preferences, and uncheck „Keep data when leaving“ 2. Log out of EN (File menu), quit EN (cmd-q). When asked confirm "Remove Data from This Device". 3. If you want to be very sure, restart the Mac 4. Open EN, log back in, wait for it to run an initial sync. 5. Let the initial download run, and leave the app open. It will take a while to download the full content, for offline use. 1 Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,059 Posted March 31, 2023 Evernote Expert Share Posted March 31, 2023 You are correct that the web browser is the place to start. Everything syncs, first, to the cloud. So what you can see in the web version of Evernote has come from a device that is sync-ing. Anything missing point to the device(s) that have an issue. Do what @PinkElephant has suggested for the devices that aren't sync-ing. 1 Link to comment

I logged out, logged back in, and the synch seems to be working. 1 Link to comment
