Paid member but very diappointed

Honestly, it's been a total disappointment to work with Evernote. And as soon as I find another that can do simple commands, I'll move my notes.

1- Why can't I copy and paste an image into my note? Come on guys, you make me do it as an attachment?

2- Once my image is in there, i can't move it around the page up or down. it always attaches it at the bottom and....

3- nearly impossible to continue to type under the image/attachment.

4- Terrible editing formatting

If anyone knows a better note taking program please let me know

1) Wrong (use a supported image format, jpg, png or gif)

2) Wrong (the note is a HTML page, the picture can be placed anywhere)

3) Wrong (You can add as many lines below the picture as you wish - or insert 5, 10 or 20 pictures, up to the note size limit)

4) Formatting options are sufficient for a note taking app

Something is majorly wrong here because only one of these is a real semi-issue and that (#2) is only partly an issue on mobile, because you can cut/copy and paste an image to anywhere, but it doesn't seem like you can drag and drop it. So, if you really want some help, you could provide more details (what device/platform, what version of Evernote, etc.), otherwise... I dunno, perhaps you are using some knockoff Android app or something, cause it sure doesn't sound like you are using Evernote. Hope you didn't put any even semi-sensitive information in your notes!

Well I cannot do any of these. I am using Chrome on my desktop.  I am using web-based evernote on my Windows 10 computer. I am not talking about the mobile app which also doesn't let you move images around and I am using the android app and I am not sure what you are talking about when you say a knockoff android app. I don't know what those are or where to find them,

I CANNOT copy an paste a saved jpg or gif file. I have to a) save it as an image and upload it as an attachment. IT WILL NOT  ALLOW ME TO screen shot something and save it as any file and just paste it. b)  I have to cut and paste the text around the image because,  I CANNOT drag and move it up and down the page. I have tried to do it several times.

You two seem very confident in your abilities.. Why don't you get together and make a youtube video showing us how you are able to do this. After all  you are here to help people and not just  make smart ass comments to make yourselves  feel better.

Just a fellow user of Evernote like yourself. I like to help people because I like the product, but when they come out and start their forum comments with outrage... it's kind of hard to care too much. There are good and bad ways to approach seeking help...

Here is an image that I copied and pasted into Evernote running in the Chrome browser and dragging it around:

And here the same in EN for the Mac, v10.54, Ventura 13.2.1. I used 3 pictures, JPG, PNG and GIF. The grabbing was done on my iPad as secondary monitor. Due to a weak WiFi it sometimes took a little until it accepted my mouse movements and clicks. On the main screen it would be smooth - but my desktop is a bit cluttered.

And, just for good measure, here is me copying an image from one note to another on Chrome using ctrl+X followed by ctrl+V. Note that the icon in the snippet view does update but takes a minute or so to do so.

I wish I had the ability you guys have with Evernote. I cannot do it the way you show it in the pictures.

I appreciate the help. But I have given up.

Check you have the most up to date version. Image handling has been steadily, but slowly, improving over time. The current web version is 10.54.4 (access via "Need a little help" at the bottom left of the screen). Otherwise, I hope you find a solution that meets your needs.
