Tasks not loading or syncing

I've tried restarting my computer. Tried unistalling app on macbook. The tasks don't sync and when I click on tasks from the left side panel the popout just spins a green circle... never loading the tasks.

I've tried creating new tasks, with due dates, etc. and that left panel popout never stops spinning.

. I am very irritated to find that 'sync' for 'tasks' is erratic across iphones/desktops and even betweeen desktops (pc's)☹️

I tried installing, and reinstalling 'evernote' on desktop and  manually syncing on iphones etc. (manual sync is a feature on iphone)
