How create Desktop icon to launch Evernote Win10

Hi.  That's Windows 101.   If your disk crash killed your original icon,  just create another one.

There are several ways to get to Evernote (or any other installed app) via the Start menu.  When you see a link to Evernote.exe,  right click it and choose 'create shortcut'.

You could use File Explorer to find the executable file

Or you could uninstall your current Evernote app,  then download and install the latest version from Evernote.com

Internet searches for your device and Windows version will give you more detailed instructions if necessary...

Evernote is the most important thing for me to get access to before I start restoring stuff from the WD Passport.  My disk is bare at this point.   I've been looking all over the Evernote site (famous words?) and I don't see the place to download any executable.  I'll keep trying.
