Modify excel file from Android device

Hi,

as you all know I can modify excel file attached to Notes on Windows and save back to the note. While I'm not able to do this on Android, it simply says save a copy.

Any way to make chance and save in the note back in android as well?

No.

All mobile OS run app strictly in a sandbox. This prevents the easy opening and saving back as on desktop OS.

Well at least this explains why I can't save my modified WORD files as well - but running the app in a sandbox shouldn't prevent data to be saved back again.

I bought my Android tablet for using EVERNOTE on it. Because the Web Version won't work under Android 12 either, there is no option to use EVERNOTE on a tablet as expected. Will need to find another option....

The web version runs on Android 9 provided you select the desktop view in the browser settings.

As noted on January, it isn't an option to open an attachment from a note, make changes and save back into the note on the mobile apps as it is with the desktop apps.
