Hi.  If you can't find a setting in your Personal Settings to reduce the frequency,  then it has been suggested that going through with the upgrade process... but dropping out before payment may win you a reprieve.  Failing that,  as a subscriber,  you can submit a ticket to Support to feedback your feeling that these are unwanted reminders,  or use the Feedback option in some clients.  We're mainly other users here,  so no inside information I'm afraid...
