Something went wrong - start evernote again keeps appearing even after restart

I updated my Mac to the latest version. Uninstalled my evernote, but still the same issue...

 You did not do enough to REALLY uninstall.

The Macs usual routine does not purge every app component. Get the app AppCleaner from the internet. Install it, use it to remove all program parts. Then restart the Mac.

Install EN again, from the EN website, not the AppStore. Should now open and allow you to log in.
