Imported file to notebook. How do i open it?

I have just moved a file from another application to evernote but I dont know how to access the information inside. ive spent some time looking for a solution but im at a loss as to what to do next in order to get my previous information opened and integrated here.

Could you describe what you did, and especially how ? What sort of file ? What did you do to "import" it ? Where did you expect it to go ?

What is your EN account status (Plan), and what sort of device / client do you use to open your account ?
