Fix duplicate note creation, and keep curser at top of notes when we open

Hi!
I pay for Evernotes to get around the issues with apple notes. 

But now most of the issues I have with apple notes are now in evernote. I use my notes as to-do lists so need to open them on my laptop and phone during the day - and evertime I switch - it creates a duplicate note My evernote is over-run by duplicate notes 😭.
 

And now when I open a note, the curser goes all the way to the bottom of my notes, which is infuriating as to scroll back to the top takes forever if we want to keep old notes for historical reasons. Please go back to having the curser land at the top of the page.
