Hello!

We have released Evernote for Windows 10.50. This release has some notable improvements, please check it out!

It is available now via the Windows Store and as a direct download version from our website. If you are already running one of these versions, we are progressively rolling out to compatible devices and the new version will be available on all supported operating systems within 7 days. To learn how Evernote delivers app updates, when you’re eligible for an update, and how to update your Evernote app, visit How Evernote delivers app updates to our customers.

New to Evernote for Windows

  • You can now select up to 100 notes and perform actions like moving, merging, or deleting multiple notes at once.
  • Now you can easily add links to other notes in Evernote. Go to the Insert menu or use the new keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + K on Windows.
  • We've upgraded how you can view note links in Evernote. Instead of a boring old link, you can choose to see either a preview of the note's contents, a text link, or the note's title. Access this functionality from the preferences menu (gear icon).
  • You can now select different default views for links and attachments inside a note. Just open the Notes tab in the Settings menu and choose your preferred way of viewing spreadsheets, PDFs, images, links to other notes, YouTube videos, and Google Drive files. Access this functionality from the preferences menu (gear icon).
  • In the past, a screen would pop up annoyingly to let you know when an Evernote update was available to you. We’ve redesigned this experience to download in the background and notify you within the app that it’s ready to go. This experience should appear in 10.51.

Fixed highlights:

  • Sometimes, recurring tasks you marked as complete on the Tasks detail screen wouldn't reset to the next due date until you closed the screen. That's now been fixed.

Let us know what you think and we appreciate the continued feedback. We will keep hard at work! Thank you!
