Evernote keeps crashing when trying to open. error message.

Have 10.05 version. have uninstalled and restarted machine. nothing working. very frustrating

Can you say some more about the machine, especially, what operating system (Windows, Mac, etc.)? V. 10.05 is a very early version of the "new" Evernote, which is currently up to v. 10.50.

What finally worked was to uninstall old Evernote with AppCleaner and then reinstall Evernote. But seems kind of bush league on Evernotes part to have to do this and it was somewhat random that I came across this solution. Looked for a long time. I love Evernote when it is working but over the years there have been a number of glitches that make me start looking at other solutions.
