dcalchemist 1
Hi, I upgraded my Mac last year to Big Sur. When I updated the Evernote desktop app to the most current version, it no longer worked. Every-time I went to open the app it crashed. I have been using the web version ever since, although just recently, certain functions like the highlight tool have disappeared (which is a separate annoyance) . I removed the desktop app and have tried various older versions but have had the same problem. I was hoping that after a year any bugs would have been dealt with, but apparently not. Is there a solution? Thanks! Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,104 Posted December 9, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted December 9, 2022 When you uninstalled, did you use an Uninstaller app like AppCleaner ? If not, download it, install, run it and use it for the uninstall. In the dialogue box make sure all Program parts are selected for the uninstall, then execute. Restart the Mac, reinstall v10, log in. I have been running EN v10 on my Macs, BigSur, Monterey and Ventura without any problems. 1 Link to comment
