Tasks in Evernote are not reliable

Idea

Hello,

I have a dashboard note where I keep track of all my tasks and deadlines for my tax declarations.
I was expecting to see a task for submitting a declaration today, but it didn't show up. When I looked at the note, only 2 of the 10 tasks were there. When I go to the Evernote web client, all tasks are there, but not in the desktop client, nor on Android.

Yes, I have already tried logging out and cleaning all data on my desktop and Android. Still nothing.

I am a full-stack developer myself, but I cannot understand how that is possible? How was this built to accommodate this?

I do love Evernote for the philosophy and how they are building it now (the idea behind it). The technical implementation, however, is awful.

Does anyone have the same issues and have a solution?

I have had this happen a few times - tasks not syncing across devices. Most of time it has been solved by logging out of the app/device that is missing the updated tasks and then logging back in. Once or twice support has had to do something on the back end to get my tasks to completely sync.

This is certainly not what you should expect nor, I think, commonly experienced.

You've done what I would have recommended. I think you're next option is a support ticket. Be sure to explain clearly what you are doing. I was a bit unsure by what you mean by 'dashboard'. I presume a note where you gather the summary information.

Expect to be taken back around all those basic steps.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I meant a summary note. Next, I'll reach out to support, but I wanted to check first to see if it's a common issue, so I won't be told it's unusual.

So let's see what they say...
