Images do not load in note, only in thumbnail

As the title suggests, Im having an issue where the images I add to a note only load as a thumbnail. But when I go inside the note, the images are missing. This happens both in Android and Windows.

Any way to fix this issue? Ive been dealing with it for more than a week now, and Im up to date both in my Android and Windows versions.

I have been having this problem with many of my images/PDFs for the last several months. I've opened a support ticket to look into it. Very annoying, as I was using Evernote for expense reports (business trip receipt images/PDFs).

I have the most-recent Windows and Android apps; it has been happening across multiple versions, on both OSs.
