Web Clipper on Firefox does not work on PDFs

Evernote Web Clipper Version: 7.26.3.408-2f61168

Firefox Linux Version: 106.0.2

 

Hi!

 

The Web Clipper does not open when I tried to clip a PDF. I can confirm this does work on Chromium. The clipper is unresponsive for Firefox on Linux Mint 20 and Windows 11. And this has been like this for a few months now. The logs do not show any error messages.

 

Is this normal for Firefox?

It has problems on my Mac with FF as well. Since it works on Safari, I assume it’s a FF / web clipper issue.

Using Opera, I find (and have always found) that using the Web clipper (or clicking the Save PDF to Evernote button at bottom right) creates a note with the proper title, but no content at all.
