en_addict 0
When opening an Evernote link in Safari, it doesn't jump directly to the App but rather opens an alert box first, where I have to confirm that I want to use the Evernote.app – see attached. How do I disable this extra check in macOS/Safari? Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 1,659 Posted November 6, 2022 Evernote Expert Share Posted November 6, 2022 I think that this is a Safari or MacOS thing. Possibly best to ask in a Mac or Safari support area on the Internet. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 5,175 Posted November 8, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted November 8, 2022 Safari is pretty safety and privacy oriented. There are several options in Safari settings that influence this behavior - but it usually does so for all websites. By making EN links more comfortable, you degrade the security and privacy of your whole surfing setup. But it somehow works to open an EN link (from a shared note) without getting a warning. At least I don’t get it, using Safari 16.1. Link to comment
