James000 11
Is it possible to force sync the Windows App? Every time I get on after making changes it takes an hour to update sometimes... Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 6,744 Posted October 27, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted October 27, 2022 Hold down opt (or on Windows maybe ctrl) and open the help menu. Choose the now showing troubleshooting option, and from the submenu Reload or Force Reload. There are keyboard shortcuts as well. My app is usually pretty snappy in syncing. So maybe there is something else preventing a normal syncing behavior. 1 Link to comment

CTRL + SHIFT + R Now, that basically restarts the whole app but it's easier than closing out the program and reopening... Thanks! 1 Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,702 Posted October 28, 2022 Level 5* Share Posted October 28, 2022 Ctrl+help doesn't provide an expanded menu system any more. There is a 'troubleshooting' option under the standard help menu which includes Reload and Forced Reload choices. Unless you're asked to do so by a Support agent, I really wouldn't play with any of the other options there... Link to comment

Evernote Expert agsteele 2,572 Posted October 28, 2022 Evernote Expert Share Posted October 28, 2022 Ctrl+R is usually sufficient to sync everything if something has gone wrong or you need to save the few seconds for a sync to take place naturally. Ctrl+Shift+R is more radical Link to comment
