Calendar having a dot or something to indicate we have an event, or entered something on that date

I'm new to Evernote but noticed right away my calendar looks blank and need to click each individual date to see if i have an appointment or event entered.

You can choose Timeline display and events are listed in order on one screen.

I see that but you still have to click each individual day to see if something is on that particular date, then you also have to scroll up and down through the hours or you still may miss an entry
