Why can't I pin my Notes view to evernote?

Do you mean pin a note to the Home page? You can do that by clicking the 3-dots More Actions menu next to the green Share button in the note, or by using the Pinned Note widget in the Customize Home dialog.

If you want to pin that list of notes, I believe you'd do that by saving the search, then using the Filtered Notes widget on the Home page, which includes saved searches. If this is just a list of notes that have the tag Knowledge, you could also pin that tag to the Home page using the Tags widget. Hope that helps.

If you want to get at some notes quick, pin them as note shortcuts. You can shortcut notebooks and saved searches as well.

or do you mean that the whole notes column disappears? If so this is a design feature when you access notes in certain ways. e.g. a note from the shortcuts.
