Location of Evernote data?

I've got the green spinning wheel of death on my Mac.  
I read through this thread (see below), and the last comment, from @PinkElephant says that the data file should be in ~/Library/Application Support/Evernote.

But I don't seem to have such a folder.  Could that be the problem?  If so, how do I reconstruct it/force the sync?

 

I'm running version 10.8.6-mac-mas-public (458469)

Update:  
I reinstalled Evernote (and did the upgrade of course), and then that folder appeared and everything started working again.

So definitely worth looking to see if your data file is where it's expected and if it's accurate or corrupted.

 

RESOLVED!  And thanks to @PinkElephant for sending me the right clues to resolve this.
