Android Evernote scanning problems

Using the latest version of EN when scanning documents on Auto, EN 'thinks' they are all a photo. Colour, B&W, small or large the program doesn't recognise a documents. Any suggestions

Same in iOS. Why do you worry, take it as it is ?! It is the best format, no data losses.

Alternative is a support ticket.

There is the extra step and then find out that the page hasn't scanned well when I save it as a document. I was hoping that there was a new version of the Android EN.

The difference between a photo and a document is this: Take it in automatic mode, and it will search the edges and even try a tombstone correction. Take it in manual mode, and it will not try to make sense of the picture - especially find a document in all the clutter.

The mode switches between document and photo.
