yeiterp 0
After buying a new iPhone and transferring data to it, Evernote recognizes my name but no data. I have a personal plan. I eliminated old devices (from my computer). I see no way to add the new phone and get my data on it. Link to comment
Boot17 1,449
I thought usually when you transition to a new iPhone, Apple takes care of all of that for you automatically and all your apps come over with all the same data (unless you manually transferred things over?) Perhaps you accidentally created a new or different account, so maybe double-check that the user account name is the right one. I hear it's pretty easy to accidentally create a new account. Edit: hrm... or perhaps you are having the same issue as this recent thread -- sounds like the poster wasn't even sure what the account was, but perhaps some of the advice in that thread can help: Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 2,946 Posted September 17, 2022 Evernote Expert Share Posted September 17, 2022 The usual cause of this issue is that it is remarkably easy to create a new Evernote account which will, of course, be empty. Look in the account settings to see when the account was created. If it says the date when you got your new device then that's the issue. Link to comment
yeiterp 0
Thank you, agsteele! I finally got it figured out last night. That trying to start me off with a new account threw me off! Link to comment
farabee 0
I am re-trying Evernote on recommendation of friend. Since the old account, I have a new M1 iMac. How do I add it and phone to allowed devices? Link to comment
