Problems with downloading and using new v10 on windows 7 desktop

Today I tried to download the newest version of EN 10.44.8.  It appeared to be installing but then I received an error message regarding "A javascript error  occurred in the main process".  I contacted EN and opened a ticket and sent them the log files.  They said it was a known issue and they were working on a fix.  Just wanted to let folks on the forum know in case anyone else was experiencing this.  I'm not sure if this is unique to my version of windows (win7 pro) or if it was happening on other versions.
