Attached file went back time -- Help needed desperately

Hi, I need help desperately. Something unthinkable happened.

I have a note with an Apple Numbers spreadsheet attached which is shared with a co-producer. The data we entered recently disappeared. My last entry was on August 16, and my co-producer's last entry was September 2. For some reason the file last update date went back to May 22 and all the data in between has lost. I don't know what to do. Please help.

One important subscriber function is Note History - which should take you back to the last time that this note was changed,  including the then current version of any attached file.  

Use note history to view older versions of a note
