formatting lost when pasting from one note to another

pretty sure this used to work properly until recently.

now, when i copy some text from one note and paste in another, it acts as if i had used paste special ie. it loses all formatting (eg. bold, bullets, etc.)

Which version of Evernote and which OS?

I just tried in the Windows desktop app and all worked as expected. Worked for Android too.

You could try a clean uninstall.

OK, first things first: Update to 10.39, if already available. The iOS twin was published in the AppStore 3 days ago.

It is mainly a bugfix release - chances are it solves the situation.

thx.  just checked and it's not yet available.  will report back when it is and i retry this.

10.39 is rolling out for Android. It arrived with me a day or so back. You should get it within 10 days or so.
