Zapalnik 1
Hi all, Attached is a recording of the issue. Really annoying, you don't want your text jumping up and down when you write it. It basically made me stick with 16 font size to be able to work. Steps to recreate: Write some text, change all text size from 16 to 14, write something couple of lines further. When cursor moves then line size changes and text moves as well. evernote_bug.mov Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,065 Posted September 4, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted September 4, 2022 You did not alter the size of the standard text font, you just changed the font size locally. What happens now when you jump with the cursor between a line in standard text size and the changed font size, it resizes the cursor symbol back to normal size, from the standard text size setting. It seems to happen only when you make the text smaller, not when enlarging the font. If you think it should be reported, issue a support ticket. Link to comment
Zapalnik 1
I did issue a support ticket (and referenced this post since a .mov file can't be attached). Not sure if there is another way to change font size not 'locally' but 'standard text font'. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,065 Posted September 4, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted September 4, 2022 Sure: Change a text to your liking, select it and click on Standard Text, move over the little arrow to the right and select „use formatting as standard text“. This will change all standard text in the current note to the new settings. It is however not global, in other (and new) notes the settings chosen there stay unchanged. In new notes the default will apply. Link to comment
