Notify me when editing is finished

After the version 10 update, we users can just edit 50 notes at once. And, while editing, it is not able to make another change in the program.

However, the editing process could cost lots of time. If there is a notification (with sounds) when editing is finished, it could be nice for who need bulk editting.

 

(I always let it work in background to keep from waiting, but it is easy to forgetting the running process.)

Can you give an example where applying changes to a selection of notes takes a significant amount of time ? 

BTW you can’t edit a selection, you can only do changes like tagging, merging, moving or deleting.

I usually tag notes for reading assignment in class. I see tag funtion as tool of metadata, so it would be more than 5 tags in a note.

When I want to add 5 tags in 50 notes, boom! It could take 2-3 minutes.

I can reproduce the 2-3 minutes, 5 tags, 50 notes.

If it is a rare situation, I would take it as it is.

If it is a frequent action, I would use the legacy client to run it.
