Please stop interrupting me with updates

Although I appreciate the code upkeep, I wish Evernote would silently nag about updates. It has a bad habit of suddenly popping to the forefront when I am working in other programs. This is particularly annoying when, say I am live-streaming something and Evernote wants me to update for "Miscellaneous bug fixes" as it did a few minutes ago. Please consider some sort of background update alert like other apps do.

I agree it's annoying and should be improved. It's supposedly on the roadmap for 2022 as indicated in the CEO Update from January:

I agree, and it's INCREDIBLE that we even have to tell this is WRONG!

I'm trying to WOOOOORRRKKKK, and get an annoying pop-up stopping me dead on my tracks!

Oh, I forgot, no time to read, you have to WOOOOORK.

To contact EN, use the feedback function or a support ticket. I mean, if you can spare the time, because you need to WOOOOORK so hard.
