Dropping 5 Files into Import Into Evernote Folder created 1,000+ notes and ate up all my storage!

I have an Import into Evernote folder on my Mac that I've been using for months. Today, I put five files in it and things went haywire. Next thing I knew, I was getting nonstop Mac Notifications of EN note creation and messages from EN that my 10GB of monthly storage had been consumed.

I placed another file in that Import folder and nothing happened. No EN note was created.

Anyone know how to delete 1,000+ notes easily? How do I get my storage allocation straightened out?

EN 10.42.7

Thanks!

Sounds like your Evernote data which recognises a new file in the import folder for confused.

I'd rebuild my data and recreate the import folder link.

File , sign out , remove Evernote data.

To remove 1000 notes you have three options. In v10 delete them in batches of 50. You can edit the config.json file and set the number of notes you can work with up to around 900. Or you could install the Legacy application which will allow you to work with larger numbers of notes.
