Finding and changing preferences to allow me to important a folder from my PC

I know this was possible for years - and I happily had a "wormhole" between my PC and my Evernote Notebook - both named PC tp Evernote for convenience. When I dowloaded a new report to my PC (to this folder) it was automatically added to the notebook. It was a joy - but it has stopped. Where do I go to set this up again and how can I be sure it doesn't break down again?

It is called import folder, available for both v10 desktop clients.

You set it up in app settings, it is pretty much self explanatory. The new version even allows for more than one import folder, each linked to another notebook. And it has finally reached the Mac, thanks to ENs all platform policy with v10.
