Blue spinning circle instead of edit button

Hi does anyone know how to get rid of this? I’m getting the blue spinning circle more and more instead of the edit button - a real issue when it does it midway through taking notes for a persons funeral! Anyone know how to avoid these? Notes are not big but frequently edited, before I could get it to go by dragging down in notes to sync but that’s not doing anything these days (not even syncing notes!). Any help much appreciated. On latest version of app and iPhone 13.

I have been experiencing the blue circle on all the iOS platforms (iPad & iPhone). I also have Evernote suddenly dropping out of Edit mode and then it becomes a matter of clicking or exiting the program before I can re-edit the note and there once again at times the blue circle appears and lasts circa 30 secs or more (sometimes less) before the edit button appears again.
