KRLLC Admin 0
I have a history of problem solving and can usually figure something out because it's either intuitive of or there's a plethora of information out there to help. However, deleting/editing tags from Evernote is neither of those and has been a pain in the ass for the last 6 years or so I've been having to use this service. How come you can't right click a tag and have an option to "edit" or "delete" it?! Instead there's a silly option to "Add to Shortcuts" that seems rather useless (you only need to add it to shortcuts once, correct?). Also, aren't the tags and notebooks they're in enough to quickly find what you need? If I needed shortcuts, couldn't I just make a "Shortcuts" tag and use it? Look, I don't care about shortcuts, but if you can somehow add a feature to a location where one might assume you'd be able to manage a tags, seems like it'd be easy enough to add something like that in. On top of all that, how come "Edit tags..." (Ctrl + Alt + T) DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO EDIT TAGS?! It's literally in the name, but what it actually means is "Hey, you can't ACTUALLY edit tags here, but can add or remove them from notes. This is just a place that makes it a little easier to manage tags on multiple notes at once." --------- So in conclusion (if you couldn't already tell), I HATE having to come to a forum for something that should be easy to do and/or look up, but it's not. Who knows, maybe those posts about how to edit the tags were correct before and you just removed that ability. Either way, the fact that I'm wasting my Friday night typing this out is testament enough to the fact that IT COULD BE A BILLION TIMES BETTER. Link to comment
Paul A. 480
I assume you're on Windows? On macOS, I see this when right-clicking on a tag in the "tag kingdom": 1 Link to comment
Mike P 2,109
You don't say what system you are using. @Paul A.has already provided a screen shot from the Mac desktop version and here is one from Windows. May be you are using a very old version. The current Windows version is: 10.40.9-win-ddl-public (3494) Editor: v151.4.18473 Service: v1.54.5 © 2019 - 2022 Evernote Corporation.
