No audio controls (skip forward etc) with audio recordings opened in Evernote Windows desktop app

Is the audio playback in evernote suppose to launch something more integrated in Evernote. The audio recordings are .webm and when I open a recording the player (which isn't integrated) doesn't allow me to fast forward the audio or move the audio position so I can skip content. I have to listen to the whole audio file all the way through.

Hi.  Evernote doesn't have many features for audio but there are a ton of third party recording apps with various studio features where you could record original material in a convenient format like MP3,  or import other file types (with or without a format conversion) and edit to your heart's content. 

The original sound file(s) can then be attached to - or saved back to - an Evernote note.
